These Terms and Conditions apply to goods and services supplied by KSDESIGN to members of the public and walk-in customers.

1. Quotations and Orders
1.1 Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated.
1.2 Quotations are based on the information and specifications provided by the customer. Changes to the size, design, materials, quantities or specifications may result in additional costs.
1.3 Work will commence once the customer has accepted the quotation and any required deposit has been received.
1.4 Additional work or changes requested after an order has been confirmed may incur extra charges.

2. Artwork and Proof Approval
2.1 Where applicable, artwork or design proofs will be provided for approval before production.
2.2 Customers are responsible for checking all details carefully, including spelling, wording, measurements, colours, layouts and other specifications.
2.3 Once artwork has been approved, any further changes may incur additional design or production costs.
2.4 KSDESIGN cannot be held responsible for errors or omissions that were present in artwork approved by the customer.

3. Payment Terms
3.1 Payment is due in full upon collection of goods, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.2 We accept the payment methods advised by KSDESIGN at the time of purchase.
3.3 A deposit may be required for custom-made products, special orders or larger projects. Any deposit requirements will be confirmed before work begins.
3.4 Any outstanding balance must be paid in full before goods are released.
3.5 All prices are in New Zealand dollars and exclude GST unless otherwise stated.

4. Production and Collection
4.1 Estimated production and collection dates are provided as a guide only. We will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed timeframes.
4.2 Customers will be notified when their orders are ready for collection, where applicable.
4.3 Customers should check their goods upon collection and notify us of any apparent damage, shortages or production issues as soon as reasonably possible.
4.4 Custom-made products are produced according to the specifications approved by the customer.

5. Colours and Materials
5.1 We make every effort to achieve accurate colours and finishes. However, slight variations may occur between screen displays, printed proofs and finished products.
5.2 Colours may also vary between different materials and production runs.
5.3 Natural variations in materials, including fabrics and other surfaces, are not necessarily considered defects.

6. Customer-Supplied Artwork
6.1 Customers are responsible for ensuring that any artwork, logos, images or other materials supplied to KSDESIGN are suitable for the intended purpose and that they have permission to use them.
6.2 KSDESIGN is not responsible for poor print quality resulting from low-resolution, unsuitable or incorrectly supplied artwork.

7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, KSDESIGN retains ownership of its original designs, concepts, artwork, working files and production templates.
7.2 Once full payment has been received, customers may use the final approved artwork for the purpose for which it was created.
7.3 Original editable design files and production files are not included unless specifically agreed.

8. Cancellations and Changes
8.1 If an order is cancelled after work has commenced, the customer may be charged for work already completed, materials purchased and other reasonable costs incurred.
8.2 Custom-made products and specially ordered materials may not be eligible for cancellation or refund once production or ordering has commenced, except where required by law.
8.3 Any changes to a confirmed order must be agreed with KSDESIGN and may affect the price and completion date.

9. Installation and Site Work
9.1 Where installation is included, customers are responsible for ensuring the site is accessible, safe and ready for work.
9.2 Customers must advise KSDESIGN of any known site restrictions or relevant conditions before installation.
9.3 Additional work arising from unexpected site conditions or access difficulties may incur extra charges.

10. Consumer Rights
10.1 KSDESIGN aims to provide all goods and services with reasonable care and skill.
10.2 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies available to consumers under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other applicable New Zealand laws.
10.3 If a customer has a concern about goods or services supplied, please contact us so we can work towards a reasonable solution.

11. General
11.1 Any changes to these Terms and Conditions must be agreed in writing.
11.2 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
